Carmen

We extend heart-felt appreciation to Carmen, our Manager of European Services in Bilbao. She is the magic behind the curtain. She does it all with finesse to ensure our guests have a wonderful experience.

As with our guides, Carmen also studied tourism at the University of Deusto in Bilbao while working with a tour operation. She holds a master’s degree in international marketing at the University of the Basque Country. After her studies, Carmen became a traveler, venturing out to live in England and France before returning to Bilbao.

Carmen Romo has been our land manager since 1992, well before tourism was a reality in the Basque Country. Dedicated and firmly convinced of the possibilities that her homeland has to offer, Carmen has successfully nutured our team. She's learned to recognize the special talents and interests of each team member and help them apply those passions to tour details.
