Experts for Your Travel Files,” was included in a 20th anniversary
issue dedicated to the 80 destinations that comprise the
new world “Grand
Tour.”
Magazine staffers identified the experts as “someone
who has traveled extensively in a region, nurtured local
connections, and whose affinity for the place is infectious.” Industry
insiders chose candidates for the expert designation. Magazine
writers then interviewed the candidates before narrowing
the field to the final 80.
